PROLOGUE

The wind. Sounding absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and quiet, as if the whole world was in peace. The flowing river; such a nice sound to hear. A wonderful background sound, as the waves hit the sand and the water collapses, becoming as small as the rain falling from the sky. The nature is beautiful, stunning and it would be great it if could be like this forever. Forever? How long is that? How long does forever last? However beautiful the world may be, there were so many unanswered questions, perhaps meant to be kept a secret forever.

Where did cats come from? Why am I here? Slowly, the wind stopped blowing into a black cat's ears. Suddenly, the sound of the flowing river stopped. It didn't seem that peaceful anymore. What is going on? What is happening? A big black shadow of a cat appeared on the ground, yet there was no cat. The black cat, Blizzardstar looked around, but he couldn't see a cat. He turned around, looking for the shadow he sensed, but he didn't see it until he noticed a strange smell coming from the moor. As he slowly padded towards the moor, each paw landing slowly onto the flatterned gras, he spotted the shadow. He skidded to a halt, about to inspect the strange appearance, as the shadow on the grass, slowly moved closer and closer to him. Blizzardstar slowly padded back, anxiety fooding through his body. What are you? What do you want for me?

 He looked around the landscape, but everything was slowly fading away.Huge black holes grew in the moorland, the moorland itself getting sucked into a black hole of nothing. The tree's were dissapearing and the river was drying up. The grass got hard as if it was frozen in less than a second and it took only a heartbeat before all the grass turned into nothing more but ash. Suddenly, the shadow infront of him stopped moving. It seemed like it froze on the ground. The world seemed like it was about to end, nothing looked like it did before. The shadow was hardly visible against the dark place, everything was gone. Even the ash of the grass had disappeared. No sign of life in nature, it was just Blizzardstar. He stared in terror at the liveless forest. Something that was so beautiful only a few heartbeats ago. He could feel his heart pounding against his chest and every heartbeat it felt like a moon had passed. Help! What do I do? I need to get out of here! Blizzardstar tried to move his paws and run away, but he couldn't move anymore. Struggling as he tried with all his power to move forward, he realized he was stuck into place, just like the shadow in front of him.

Suddenly, the wind started blowing again, making him shiver as the breeze stroked along his fur. Even though he was shivering, it wasn't cold at all. A breeze without a temperature? How is that even possible? As Blizzardstar concentrated on the wind slowly crawling up his sleek body, jumping from his chest to his muzzle and eventually to his hears, he realized it wasn't just the wind. It was a voice. "Don't be afraid," a warm and calm voice whispered softly into his ear, "I'm here to protect you, Blizzardstar." Blizzardstar looked around in confusion. Had he imagined that cat, because of his fear? How could a voice come from the wind, while there's no cat around? He narrowed his eyes are he looked around him once again, yet he couldn't spot any cat near him. As he failed to find the scource of the voice, he decided to respond to the mysterious voice. "Who are you? ...Where are you?", he asked, stuttering. He anxiously waited for a reply, every heartbeat seeming to last like a moon, but the wind was quiet once again.

There wasn't a sign of any voice. He suddenly realized he felt as if he was deaf. There was nothing he could hear anymore. Attempting to concentrate on the breeze, hoping to be able to talk to the mysterious wind again, he realized his eyes were closed, and he couldn't breathe. Even worse, he could see his own body for a heartbeat, laying on the grass. Struggling to get back to the body, he managed to summon his spirit back to the motionless body. He opened his eye wide in terror. "Please, answer me!" Silence, again. Not a word was spoken. I don't know what's going on... I don't know why this is happening.. Wait... What is that smell?

 Blizzardstar sticked up his nose, smelling the area. Something was different. He could taste something sweet, and it smelled so nice. It made him calm down a bit. It grew stronger, he closed his eyes to concentrate on the suprisingly sweet smell. He wanted to follow it, however he was still shivering in fear, but then he realized the scource was right in front of him.

The whole forest seemed desperate and still as dark as it was before. All grass was gone, and there was ash everywhere. As he concentrated on his well trained nose, he caught the sweet scent again. He followed the scent, carefully placing his paws in front of another. As the scent was as strong as ever, he blinked his eyes over and saw one spot of the most beautiful flowers Blizzardstar had ever seen. They were still in bloom, growling swiftly until in the center a beautiful pink-dotted leaf appeared. It's beautiful! I've never seen a flower like that...  Suddenly, Blizzardstar realized where the flowers were growing. It was exactly where that shadow of the cat was laying on the ashes of the grass. The shadow was standing still on it's spot, not moving, but it was fading. "Blizzardstar," the shadow spoke quietly as it was fading swiftly.

 Blizzardstar blinked and was very confused. "The time of darkness is about to begin. You are the only one who can stop it." It's the voice. So the shadow was the voice. Blizzardstar shivered. "You need to stop it, before it get's here! Be quick, Blizzardstar!" The more the strange shadow said, the more confused he got. The shadow was almost completely gone, but it was still there, it's transperancy showing the ashes on the black ground. Many questions were unanswered and the least he wanted right now is to be left alone with all his questions. "Wait!" Blizzardstar meowed. "How do I stop it? What can I do?" Blizzardstar tried moving closer to the flowers, since he couldn't see the shadow anymore, but his paws fellt stuck to the ground again. "We believe in you, Blizzardstar," the voice meowed quietly, almost too quiet to hear. "Don't go! Please!" Blizzardstar cried desperately. "I need to know more! How do you expect me to fulfill a propechy if I don't know what it's about?" But it was too late. The shadow had faded fully, and there were no more sounds Blizzardstar could hear. Even the black world he was stuck in was fading, and it made place for a bright light. Great StarClan, what destiny do you have in mind for me? I still don't know a thing. All he knew was that he needed to stop something big, and he had to be fast. He got the important task of a big propechy. But how was he going to do that if he doesn't know anything about it?

Warrior cats fanfic, first try ever...

Book 1! Frozen storm! /shot

I know my grammar and everything /is/ weird. I'm doing this for fun. English isn't my first language so yeah. XD;

I know it's all mystery sounding! THat's what it's SUPPOSED to be like.

It's going to be about completely different clans, too! I'll reveal the clan names in the first chapter, heh~
I'll try my best keeping it intresting, but keep in mind I'm not the best writer around, especially in another language. XD
